Our goal is to accommodate the individual educational and child care needs of our community by providing a quality program with fun and enriching age appropriate activities in a safe and nurturing environment.

The IM-K Community Schools North Elementary Child Care Center and IM-K Community Schools Woodland Extended Care are licensed with the State of Michigan. It is the goal of the IM-K Community Schools Child Care and Extended Care Programs to provide quality care for your child(ren) during their time with us. Our staff is caring and competent. All staff are trained and certified in CPR and First Aid.
The IM-K Community Schools Child Care and Extended Care Programs maintain an open door policy for all parents. Parents are welcome to call or drop in any time during the day to observe or interact with their child(ren) or staff.

As a Great Start to Quality program, IM-K Community Schools North Child Care and Woodland Extended Care meets Michigan's standards for health and safety. We strive to continually improve, meet, and exceed the Great Start to Quality rating standards to offer a quality program to prepare your child for success in their future.

North Elementary Child Care
REGISTRATION
All registration forms are available at the IM-K Community Schools Office, the North Elementary Child Care Center or by emailing [email protected]. No child will be denied admission on the basis of race, creed, or religion. IM-K Community Schools accepts DHS payments for qualifying families. Children must be 3 through 12 years old to attend the Child Care Center, children must be fully potty trained.

The hours of operation for the IM-K Community Schools North Child Care Center are 6:30 a.m. to 8:15 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at North Elementary School. We follow the Iron Mountain Public Schools calendar.
SUMMER CHILD CARE
The IM-K Community Schools North Elementary Child Care Center offers Summer Child Care. The hours of operation will be 6:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Children must be 3 through 12 years old to attend the Child Care Center, children must be fully potty trained. The Summer Child Care program will have 'Themes of the Day' throughout the summer for the children. Use the School Year registration form if you would like to register your child.
IMKCS Woodland Extended Care

The hours of operation for the IM-K Community Schools Woodland Extended Care are 6:30 a.m. to 8:15 a.m., 11:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m., and 3:15 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at Woodland Elementary School. We follow the Breitung Township Schools calendar.
