Mission Statement
The Iron Mountain-Kingsford Community Schools Alternative Middle School’s Mission is to offer area middle school students an individualized educational setting to be successful in. It is our goal to provide a different type of learning environment than the structure of a traditional middle school setting. Our objective is to break down the barriers to educational progress and to help students prepare for high school so all types of learners will gain the grade level knowledge and skills they need to navigate high school, earn high school credit, gain self-respect and contribute in a positive manner to their home, school and community.
